Dr. Joe Meeting and his wife Jen have been my physicians on a long journey of back issues I’ve had over the past five years. Every time I come in to their office they’re always very careful to asses my pain and treat only what is necessary! One characteristic of their style of practice that I cannot praise enough is that they know the limits of what they are capable of doing! Although their knowledge is extremely diverse and vast, there are some issues that a physical therapist/chiropractor cannot do. At those few times in my history of being their patient, (primarily occurring near the beginning of my treatment with him) they were very upfront with what they were unable to treat and told me the appropriate actions I should take before beginning treatment. Although my pain has been reoccurring over the last four years, both Jen and Joe have been key in helping me get to an improved lifestyle! They’re not hasty in the their treatment, but they also don’t want you to linger too long on the same regimes. There is an evolution to how they treat and I believe it has helped me tremendously. If you’re in need of physical therapy, rehabilitation, or chiropractic care do yourself a favor and stop by!

I came to Dr. Meeting with terrible breathing difficulty. It was here that I learned I was breathing incorrectly through my chest rather than my abdomen causing stress on the muscles that are supposed to aid me in breathing. He provided me with exercises to do at home and, slowly over time, retrained my breathing. Today I can take full breaths and have the comfort of knowing that it was not a serious medical issue that was hindering my breathing. Not only this, but he always has a good staff of massage therapists. I have been coming regularly every 2 weeks to get an hour long massage as well as an adjustment which is much needed after sitting in front of a computer all day everyday for work. The staff is very knowledgeble and friendly.

Dr. Meeting has been treating me for several years and I was excited when he opened his practice in Lincoln Square. His has an excellent consultative style and keeps himself aware of the latest techniques and therapies. He interacts with you on a friendly basis but is authoritative while being open to discussing new/alternative ideas – it’s refreshing to find someone like him in the medical field. I initially sought him out for ART (Active Release Technique) to treat some nagging injuries from years of athletic abuse. From there, it was natural to transition into working with his massage therapists, I initially started with the deep tissue therapist and have also found great benefit working with his thai massage therapist as well. I’ve also benefited greatly from his diet and supplementation advice – he offers a complete care experience. You will feel better after working with him and his staff – I recommend him highly.

Dr. Joseph Meeting is a good listener & keeps great records– talks me through what he is doing & why. I’ve never felt rushed. Dr. Jen Meeting is personable & professional. She is knowledgable & I saw vast improvements in a short amount of time.
